GRANNEX is one of the British sires we see all the time in the results! He has produced two National Event Champions to date and many excellent Jumpers – what more to come??
Since winning the style prize at the AES National Stallion Show as a 5 year old, GRANNEX jumped successfully up to International level with Ben Dunning and on the County Show Circuit with Stephen Williams.
GRANNEX’s pedigree - if you were to list and picture all his Olympic/World European Medallist relatives you would fill a book!
ANNA-TEVKA his dam lived up to her superb breeding, only jumping for a few years when having a break from breeding and jumped to Grade A with Dirk Hafemeister.
GRANNUS and LANDGRAF the sire and grandsire of GRANNEX are two of the all time great stallions of the Show Jumping world. With RAMIRO Z, sire of RATINA, Olympic Gold and Silver medal winner, also in GRANNEX’s damline he has three of the worlds greatest four stallions in his pedigree.
GRANNEX’s offspring are quite exceptional. Many are show jumping and making their way impressively up the top of the ranks including BARONS GRAPHITE who is one of the South West's top Grade A’s.

In eventing Lucy Wiegersma and GRANNTEVKA PRINCE won the 6 year old Pavo Final in 2006 and the intermediate at Gatcombe - Lucy said “this is definitely a horse with a big future!”. He is now advanced and has been consistently in the money at ** and *** – finishing 2nd at Burnham Market *** and 11th at Barroca ***.
ELLFIELD APRIL JOY is also advanced and is placed 5th at Bramham *** with Jay Halim. Jade Lazenby and LEACOURT TOUCH & GO won the BE Intro Champs in 2004. LITTLE BOSS has been consistently in the money up to intermediate with Georgie Davies – GRANADOR and DELPHY’S CHARLIE’S BROWN have both been sucessful in CCI* and intermediate.
GRANNEX is being used by Britains top owners and breeders – with the change to short format, a true ‘Jumper’ who throws quality and movement is what we want. GRANNEX is available for frozen semen worldwide. Collected and frozen by the leading centre in Belgium, the quality of his frozen semen is exceptional; which is not altogether a surprise as his chilled semen, with a morphologic normality of 97%, has been declared outstanding by numerous veterinary centres specialising in Artificial Insemination. We are not aware of a single chestnut GRANNEX foal - they have all been bay with the exception of a few greys.
