In eventing Lucy Wiegersma and GRANNTEVKA PRINCE – his star son Granntevka Prince with Lucy Wiegersma finished 2009 with a win at Blenheim CCI*** and went on to finish 4th at Pau CCI****. In 2010 he was 3rd in the Advanced Intermediate at Belton, 13th in the World Cup Qualifier at Chatsworth, 4th in the Tattersalls World Cup Qualifier and 9th at Luhmuhlen CCI****. Previously, they won the 6 year old Pavo Final in 2006 and the intermediate at Gatcombe. Lucy said “this is definitely a horse with a big future!”. They went on to 2nd at Burnham Market *** and 11th at Barroca ***.

| William Fox-Pitt has a lovely 'Grannex' bred by his mother Marietta – BLUE RIVER II who he feels is definitely a top prospect. Others include ELLFIELD APRIL JOY is also advanced and was placed 5th at Bramham *** with Jay Halim. Jade Lazenby and LEACOURT TOUCH & GO won the BE Intro Champs in 2004. LITTLE BOSS has been consistently in the money up to intermediate with Georgie Davies – GRANADOR and DELPHY’S CHARLIE’S BROWN have both been sucessful in CCI* and intermediate. As was WHATA PERK with Ollie Townend winning the Intermediate at Allerton Park. |
| GRANNEX is being used by Britains top owners and breeders – with the change to short format, a true ‘Jumper’ who throws quality and movement is what we want. GRANNEX is available for frozen semen worldwide. Collected and frozen by the leading centre in Belgium, the quality of his frozen semen is exceptional; which is not altogether a surprise as his chilled semen, with a morphologic normality of 97%, has been declared outstanding by numerous veterinary centres specialising in Artificial Insemination. We are not aware of a single chestnut GRANNEX foal - they have all been bay with the exception of a few greys. |
